Baltimore seems to have found new life with rookie Lamar Jackson starting at quarterback.
"I know there are 32 teams. and I'm aware not everyone has that type of support", Quinn said Monday. He repeatedly delivers a much-needed dose of excitement at the most crucial part of the season.
As of this writing, the Ravens are up 13-10 on the Atlanta Falcons.
Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn on his team's preparation ahead of the matchup with the Ravens, "We had good meetings today and preparation for today". Sure. Absolutely. He's done enough.
For Ryan, it was the fewest passing yards in a game he played from start to finish in his 11-year career. With four games remaining, Baltimore (7-5) has a one-game lead for the final playoff spot in the AFC.
"It's disappointing", quarterback Matt Ryan said. Whatever way we decide to do, it's only going to be to make our team the strongest it can be. "But like I said, we'll cross that bridge when we get to that".
"This is an unconventional offense", Harbaugh said. I think that's an added element that you see, okay, he can run boots and keepers to go. The offense doesn't run as smoothly as Jackson glides for first downs. They give up 123.7 rushing yards per game and 27.9 points, both among the League's worst. Beasley picked it up and went 74 yards on an incredible return.
For the Ravens, a major change has happened on the offensive side of the ball as head coach John Harbaugh has named rookie quarterback, and 2016 Heisman victor, Lamar Jackson as the starter over veteran Joe Flacco.
"That ain't my job to say, man", Suggs said. "I'm a big fan of my teammates, particularly Super Bowl MVPs".
The Ravens take chunks off the clock, which keeps the NFL's top-ranked defense fresh.
Sunday, Jackson hauled the Ravens to an ugly but serviceable win over the Atlanta Falcons, 26-16. He continued, "we're ready to get rocking and it's going to be a hell of a game". They're not scintillating numbers, but they're winning ones.
It wasn't entirely clear what happened to Jackson.
The issue now for Baltimore is how to handle having two comparable but very different quarterbacks.
Lamar is the only option you need in the back field. "I feel good. I felt good out there". [The Falcons] have Julio [Jones], Calvin Ridley and [Mohamed] Sanu. "So, I see an accurate passer, I see a guy with a quick release that can get rid of the ball to the proper guys so that's what I've seen so far".
Uncertainty at the starting quarterback position is unfamiliar ground for the Ravens. It's a one-game season for us.
"You just don't focus on it", Stanley said.
