Speaking with the Sirius-XM Boxing show, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder revealed he suffered a broken hand weeks prior to his fight against Tyson Fury.
"I'm willing and ready to give Fury the opportunity ASAP". Many believed Fury won the fight, although Wilder knocked his opponent down twice. I never had it easy, I had to work for whatever I got.
Fury took the full ten seconds to rise after many fans, and Wilder himself, appeared to believe the fight was over.
A rematch with Wilder is a very realistic possibility with the victor then perhaps facing Joshua, who holds the IBF, WBA and WBO straps formerly held by Fury, later in 2019.

But the hall-of-fame promoter reckons either fight will feel flat in comparison to a potential rematch between Fury and Wilder.
While Saturday's fight was ruled a draw, Wilder said the sport of boxing, particularly in the United States, was a victor. Wilder said he doesn't want to fight anybody else before a rematch. We are here to put entertaining fights on while we are in the era and active.
The fight was, according to Muso, illegally available via 133 piracy streaming domains, 80 YouTube live links, with 30 percent of illegal viewers hailing from the US, UK, and Ukraine. "It's only right for us to go back in and do it again". A fight that has earned millions of euro, that the boxer wants to pass.
