In terms of risk factors and awareness, Croatia is ranked among the worst, while in terms of screening, diagnostics and therapy, it is in the top third of developed countries. The government must make policies to build a national cancer prevention and control system and emphasize on individuals' role in cancer prevention.

By doing so, we can prevent and control cancer with lower costs.
