The Los Angeles Lakers ($3.7 billion), reigning National Basketball Association champion Golden State Warriors ($3.5 billion), Chicago Bulls ($2.9 billion) and Boston Celtics ($2.8 billion) rounded out the top five, Forbes said in a statement.
The trade deadline expired on Thursday without any teams showing interest in Kanter.
Enes Kanter seemed on the outside, looking in, with the New York Knicks since head coach David Fizdale removed him as a starter in October. Matthews, who has an expiring contract, plans to sign with the Indiana Pacers. According to the Indy Star, the 32-year-old cager is expected to fill the void of Victor Oladipo who suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee back in January. The Sacramento Kings have recently been linked to Kanter.
Things could change by the summer when Jordan's contract expires.

It seems that Jordan and Durant reportedly hold close ties, potentially giving NY a bit of an edge to other teams in pursuit.
The 6-11, 250-pounder was the third overall pick in the 2011 draft by the Jazz.
However, with NY acquiring center DeAndre Jordan in the Kristaps Porzingis deal last week and him being inserted immediately into the starting lineup, the odds of Kanter's minutes increasing reduced even more.
The team issued a waiver for Kanter, and one of his representatives told The New York Post they were working on a "separation" deal in which the team would work on a buyout with the player.
The Knicks also made a decision to keep Jordan, despite suggestions that the veteran would be bought out.
