Immediately, Anthem is looking at three "acts" of content, with act one scheduled to kick off in March. This world is both handsome and deadly - and will strategically challenge you with each new expedition you embark on with your Freelancer team. Players will also have access to Contracts.
Anthem's Game Director Jonathan Warner narrates the 5:30 minute video, guiding viewers through the various activities that will keep you employed as a freelancer.
Endgame features will be available once the player reaches level 30, the maximum level in the game. Acts are supposed to further Anthem's story, add new locations, features, and character interactions. At this point, players will be able to take part in daily, weekly, and monthly challenges, and unlock "Anthem's" Grand master, Grand Master 2, and Grand Master 3 difficulty tiers. Different objectives net you crafting blueprints and materials to create the powerful equipment described in blueprints. Once you complete Anthem's main story, you can up the difficulty of the entire game to challenge yourself even more. Contracts will allow players to increase their reputation with different factions, granting them access to crafting blueprints.
After you've ventured deep into the world of Anthem, mastered their abilities and gone toe-to-toe with terrifying enemies, their journey will only be getting started. Do enough contracts, and a Legendary Contract will open up; which are multi-part missions that take a lot more time to complete, but with greater rewards.
The Cataclysm is described as "a world-changing, time-limited event" that will bring extreme weather, risky new enemies and new mysteries to get to the bottom of in Anthem's world. It's rather vague, but you can see these in the images embedded above.
