Starbucks' newest beverage might just have have you on cloud nine.
The drink, which is a permanent addition to the coffeehouse's menu, is available in two flavors, caramel, and cinnamon, and can be served hot or cold. Presumably you can order whatever size you like, but "grande" is probably recommended.
CNN reports that Starbucks is upping its cold drink offerings as customers angle for something with a tad less sugar than the classic ice-y coffee drink, which can pack upwards of 66 grams per Grande (16 oz) serving. Grande tweeted out an images the Cloud Macchiato and of herself Tuesday wearing the Starbucks' signature green apron, adding the hashtag "StarbucksAmbassador". So it makes flawless sense that the singer, who's about to embark on her Sweetener World Tour, has teamed up with the coffee giant to launch her own speciality "Cloud Macchiato" drink.
Grande is also a spokesperson for Starbucks' newest drink, having collaborated with the coffee chain to create the new drinks (it comes in cinnamon and caramel flavor).
The new Cloud Macchiato is described by Starbucks as 'whipped cold milk foam that has a light, fluffy and silky-smooth texture'.
The Cloud powder that is used to create this new macchiato is a very special recipe that includes egg whites, which help to give the foam its airy and cloud-like foam.
Fans online joked that they would purchase a grande in the drink as a playful pun on Ariana's last name.
The espresso firm first teased the cloud macchiato throughout its investor day in December for instance of how the corporate is innovating its iced drinks. Also, the stores are selling Lemon Cake pops to provide a citrus burst to the sweet treat.
