Life imitates art if you have the life of Lori Loughin and took part in the artistry that was "Full House". When Jesse realizes his kids won't get in, he blatantly lies on the application.
"They're really great people, and you kind of just go, 'I'm really so confused by all of this, '" Richards confessed. Unfortunately, Nicky and Alex aren't quite up to snuff - they're still learning their "block" versus "choo choo" basics - so Uncle Jesse "embellishes" their application to "give the boys a little edge", as Joey (Dave Coulier) suggests.
Which is probably why social media has been relentlessly creating and sharing memes about the allegations against her.
Loughlin was charged alongside fellow actress Felicity Huffman and dozens of other individuals on Tuesday as the Department of Justice announced a bust in what they're calling the "largest college admissions scam ever prosecuted".
Loughlin and Giannulli are charged with spending $500,000 to buy their two daughters' admission to the University of Southern California, under the guise that they were recruited by the school's rowing team, in 2016 and 2018.
"I mean, I expected this from a desperate housewife, but you?" the host added, referencing Huffman, who was on the series "Desperate Housewives".
Giannulli, who appeared in court Tuesday afternoon, was released on a $1 million bond and had to surrender his passport, restricting his travel to the continental U.S. The judge did mention the fashion designer's "wife" as his co-defendant and noted that he would allow her to travel only to Canada to continue working.
Loughlin, who along with her real-life husband are accused of trying to smooth the path to college for their two daughters, had enjoyed a rather clean-cut image in Hollywood up to this point.
"This all started when Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse tried to lie to get their twins into that fancy preschool", another wrote.
"Okay but remember when aunt becky and uncle jesse lied to get nicky and alex into that fancy preschool??? history repeats itself [shake my head]", someone else wrote. "They're saying this could be the Becky with the Good Hair that Beyoncé warned us about", he said.
