The flood information service has issued a "Flooding is possible - be prepared" warning for the River Roch and the River Beal following anticipated heavy rainfall on Saturday 16 March. If the Missouri River reaches 45.5 feet, the plant must shut down.

The Gavins Point Dam in South Dakota is now releasing 100,000 cubic feet of water per second due to rapid plains snow melt and heavy rainfall. They could be tested this year.
