Starting with the first Pixel in 2016 and continuing with the Pixel 3 series a year ago, Google's smartphones have been sold exclusively on Verizon (and Google Fi if you want to count that) in the United States. They are both tipped to get a The Google Pixel 3a will have a 5.6-inch 1080x2220px and a 6.0-inch 1080x2160px screen with snapdragon 670 with 4GB under the hood.

Why do we need a hero or help?
Some of the previous leaks speculated that the Pixel 3a phones would be launched at Google I/O 2019, which kicks off on May 7th, with Google's regular press conference. Google also took advantage of the Disney/Marvel partnership to tease the imminent arrival of new Pixel hardware, without revealing any details about it.
As smartphone prices continue to climb, with the likes of Samsung and Apple offering phones that cost over $1,000, competing with mid-tier smartphone vendors (and perhaps learning more about that market as a vendor), the move makes a lot of sense for Google. The biggest trump card in Google's arsenal is obviously its camera technology, more software than hardware driven, but you can expect the same performance from the Pixel 3a lineup.
