Razdan, however, soon deleted her tweet after Kangana's sister Rangoli Chahel said that it was Anurag Basu and not Mahesh Bhatt, who had given Kangana her first break in Bollywood.
Actor Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel has launched a fresh attack at Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt and her family, now claiming that the Gully Boy actor's father Mahesh Bhatt once threw a slipper at the Manikarnika actor. Daughter over and over again.
Recently, when Alia Bhatt had said that she can't vote in India as she has a British citizenship, and taking this to Twitter space, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel had tweeted that non Indians are living off this land, using and abusing its people and resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred. Apart from the character of course.
Razdan's tweet received hated comments from the trolls to which she responded by saying: "I do actually". Secularism and democratic principles are values and it's those that I stand for. The controversy around this is two-fold; firstly, Alia is a British citizen and therefore can not vote in the Indian Elections, secondly, pro-BJP elements see this campaign as anti-Modi and are calling out Alia for supporting it.
Also jumping into the fray was Randeep Hooda, Alia Bhatt's co-star from Highway.
Actor Randeep Hooda too supported Alia and without naming anyone wrote a cryptic tweet which read: "Dearest @aliaa08 I'm so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work. kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself".
Twitteratis all over started posting their views and then came a moment when a netizen tweeted about Rangoli's Twitter banter, "Kangna up to her old tricks-pretending ya sis' handle! Now that Kangna has achieved fame & fortune why is she still consumed by jealousy towards Alia?"

Reacting to Soni Razdan's tweet about Mahesh Bhatt launching Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli disclosed on social media the treatment Kangana faced from the filmmaker.
However, on being asked about Kangana and Rangoli's hate for Alia, the actor's mother Soni Razdan told Pinkvilla, "I do not wish to be drawn into this madness".
And that's how, it all ended (probably)!
